How My Dog Unleashed My Life

News and Events:

I am excited about adding a blog to the website and I am looking forward to using it to share more ideas with you.  Just click on the "blog tab" in the menu bar above to access it.

My current blog is entitled, "Becoming a Beacon of Light."  It suggests that in this time of economic stress and global upheaval that there is something that each of us can do:  we can become a positive beacon of light for ourselves and those around us.  The only true antidote to fear is faith--and faith is much stronger than anything you might fear in your life, whether it is within your own personal life situation or in the larger world context.  Faith is your path our of stress--which is only fear wrapped in modern language.

I hope you will read the rest of the blog--and let me know what you think under the contact us tab.

Max and I are currently traveling in the motorhome while I am working on Book Two and doing some publishing projects.  We enjoyed staying in the South Carolina State Parks this winter, and while it wasn't as warm as we would have liked, it was quite beautiful.  Winter has a special quality of peace and solitude that gives us all a chance to become more quiet and introspective.

Now that spring is upon us, I feel energized to get going on some projects that I had put aside last fall--like clearing out some excess clothes that I no longer need.  The problem is that I still like them so I have been hanging onto them--but that is silly since I don't have any place to wear them anymore and someone out there does, so off they will go.

That is the gift of releasing--it sometimes hurts in the moment but down the road it really feels great.  So I hope you find something to release as you do your spring cleaning--it is truly good for the soul.

I have included my article, It Takes Courage to Bloom in the Mud, which was published in the "The Journey Magazine."   Just click on the box below to read it in full.

Thank you all for your very supportive and encouraging emails--we are so pleased that you are enjoying the book and finding it inspiring in your own lives.  That is why I wrote it so it is very gratifying that it is achieving it's purpose.  Just remember that "courage is feeling the fear and doing it anyway."  It may be challenging to do, but it is well worth it and I have found that it gets easier with time and practice.

In peace,

Janet and Max
